It has got a great entrance, as soon as you entered the lobby you can bright colours unlike other 5 star hotels. Lobby manager was always available on call and they will act on your enquiry at a super fast speed. Telephone call rates are less as compared to other hotels. Welcome drinks were served as soon as we approached reception and they were in a SHOT glass, very much different from other hotels. Check in and check out were too quick and was very well handled by front office staff. Reception staff are always very polite. Will definitely stay again.
This is review for my Delhi stay between 22. 10. 2017 and 23. 2017 at this Hotel Due to professional occupations, I needed to book somewhere near Connaught Place, and on a little search, finalized this one. So, the location is great. You are in the heart of the business district of the metro city I had pre intimated my tentative arrival time, and on reaching, the reception staff told me that my room was ready. The check in took little time than expected. Whenever booked on travel websites, in the past I was not required to spend as much time as I spent for check in this Hotel I was initially given a room on the 03rd floor. Shockingly, the room was not clean and I found dust on the bathroom furnishings, which I pointed out to the housekeeping staff. But, that is not the sole reason why I sought for change of room. The toilet seat was not fitted with jet bidet, and I had to tell the reception that I can not wipe out my with paper after easing as I am used to use water and soap for that. Remember that if your are given a room on the 03rd floor. Then they shifted me to a room on the 04th floor The view from the room was their on ground open air restaurant / barbecue corner. That is okay since I had booked base category room. The room was comfortable in all respects The hotel is equipped with many facilities which a star rated usually has; however, I could use none for want of time The only food I had there was the morning breakfast. It was great, fabulous, and variety, continental and Indian dishes on offer. Full marks for the food quality and taste Though it was a nice stay, I was little disappointed with the time taken for check in, with the dust I found in the room, and with the inadequate bathroom fittings.
It was located in the busiest and modern part of New Delhi, near Connaught place. With such a nice location it provides a wide range of rooms with a range of choices of services. A bit on a costlier side(their services will let you forget this) they provide good quality stuff right from the gate entry to your exit from the hotel. Delicious food, drinking options and also possess a bar which helps to make your stay a worth remembered.
Not value for money at all as I paid approx 9000 per night for this property and it was not worth it. They definitely needs a reassessment for a 5 star rating as it does not qualify the class and though the rooms are spacious, the design is awkward as the door of wash-room opens right in front of the bed (how weird is that) and then we checked 3 rooms and in all three, the door latches were broken The wooden floor used to make a squeaking sound while walking and the noise from the adjacent rooms were audible making it highly uncomfortable. The curtains/blinds were at least a decade old with no proper hinges to remove the blinds properly and tie it some place to keep that steady. The mattress were very soft and caved in at certain places From the very moment you enter, the first impression is gaudy with cheap pink and blue lights with aged red sofas and makes you think that if you have chosen a right place for stay My suggestion to fellow travellers would be to go for Hotel Royal Plaza for approx Rs. 7000 or for a bigger budget opt for Shangri La that's around Rs. 11000. Except for the location, heart of the city, nothing was worth mentioning.
I started from Bangalore on march 27 morning and reached Delhi on 27 march evening. I soon went to my lodge booked on internet (The Park hotel) It was a lonely trip. The welcome was warm and the staff at the reception was polite. I had to wait a bit before the rooms is allocated. As I waited I saw around the pool and the surroundings and loved every bit of the exterior property. The room allotted to me was veranda Room which luckily faced the lake. The view was brilliant The room was spacious with most basic amenities however, they were not extraordinary, but good. My room didn't have hair dryer and none had bathroom slippers. I had to ask for these and the housekeeping never bothered to come even after several requests. The phone lines were never answered and if at all they were, it took ages for someone to attend my requests Food was good and the staff at veranda restaurant was very helpful. The breakfast crowd was massive during the holiday season was slightly unmanageable but I saw that the staff did their best to please everyone. In-room dining was quick and the food tasted good. Bed was also comfortable. Had a nice trip.
The stay was relaxing, the hotel is nicely made. The location is good its in central Delhi. The staff is good they attend you very nicely. The service is very fast they attend you in a click. The rooms are well-made lighting is good. If we talk about food it's tasty whether Chinese or Indian or conti. It has a disc and the DJ is really great. The rent for room is good competitive so will not hit pocket. Most of the big showrooms are at stone throw distance so no problem. A very good stay and will come back for sure.
