Nice place for conducting events and expos

Pragati maidan is famous among delhiites because most of the expos and exhibitions are conducted here. All basic facilities are available here. Only problem is lack of eating options. Only few eating joints are available inside.

Excellent venue for shows

Pragati Maidan is a venue for hosting big shows like Auto Expo and Trade Fair. Pragati Maidan is very big and and is situated near Old Fort of Delhi. When I have visited Pragati Maidan for Auto Expo, I was stunned by the number of halls inside Pragati Maidan and the level of work done for hosting shows like Auto Expo is just tremendous.

Place for Exhibitions

Pragati Maidan as such is not a tourist place but you can go there during year any time and you will find exhibition going on. In November every year Trade fair happens there, best time to visit. Halls in Pragati Maidan are unique.

Very fine spot for all kind of large events

I had been there many a times for different purposes. (During industrial events, business gatherings, travel conclaves etc. ). Everytime, I am there its actually soothing to know that you won't be facing pushy crowds & stacked up lines due as the place is so well managed & spacious that it could contain any amount of people (no matter how large the event is) without any hassles.

Best displaying of products

The visit to Pragati Maidan was a full 'paisa-vasool'. As the name itself suggests the ground is used for showcasing the development of various industries and products. I visited there during Rubber expo. Make sure that you have a valid invitation/pass, the entry to it is free. Also note that there are many expos and shows running at the same time, so make sure to attend the correct one.
