I had visited this hotel for couple tour. The appearance of the hotel was good. The food was good with quality and quantity. The check in and checkout was done on time. The room was clean and spacious. There were no activities arranged by this hotel. I don't have any suggestion for this hotel.
The resort is 6 - 7 kms away from the main road and the road is a very narrow one. A truck or a bus coming opposite can cause a traffic jam . There are no shops or hotels around so ensure you carry all items before you end up at the property. We were a group of 37 members on an offsite trip, the booking was made through Trailroot. In. We were promised accommodation in shared rooms and cottages . When we reached the destination the property in charge told us that he couldn't accommodate all of us in rooms and some had to stay in tents, the reason for rooms unavailability was that Trailroot. In didn't initmate him in advance. Since the property was quite a distance from main road, we had no other choice but to accept the offer since we were in a group . When we accommodated ourselves we realized there are close to 60+ other people in the resort . As part of the deal with Trailroot. We were promised unlimited peanut masala and onion pakoda as starters from evening 5 pm - 8 pm, the service started late at 6 pm, they provide 20 plates and start arguing 20 plates should suffice for 37 people and that they can't provide unlimited, they also stated saying they are doing a favour by giving us complimentary unlimited snacks . . Post dinner when some of us slept in the tents, post midnight a herd of 20 dogs started howling and fighting, we literally had to get out of our tents and chase them away, they would come back again. No matter what we did, they wouldnt go away, they would come and **** on the tents, howl loudly and fight often with each other keeping us awake the entire night. Calls to resort staff went unanswered and we had a sleepless night. Next day when we confronted the owner about the horrible experience, he replied back to us rudely saying we are admist of nature and dogs barking and howling are part of the nature and we should get used to it . The place, food, the scenery around is good, however the poor service and unwilling attitude of the staff brings down the overall experience at the resort. The resort is always full since they accept corporate bookings and at any given point of time there would be 60 -70 guests at the resort. A definite no - no for family and couple travellers. My suggestion is to stay away from the resort. Explore other good resorts close by which offer good value for money
Had booked 2 nights and 3 days family package in this resort. Wanted to explore the family. Family was not comfortable with the location and the rooms and had bad experience during nights. This place is I good only for the one who boozes, food and its taste is okay. Service is not so good to recall it.
Good hotel but non-veg food has to be made available. Location is good, need to improve service. Hotel is in good location and good plantation as been maintained, need to clean the river. Nice experience to walk near river. The hotel had provided the outdoor games. The staff of the hotel were good. The hotel had provided both vegetarian and non vegetarian food like south Indian. The quality of the food was good and just awesome, yummy taste. Morning view of the resort is adorable. Reception was good in service. It's worth for the money. Special mention about coffee.
Prakruth Resort is around 5-6 kms from the main road and this last 5-6 kms is kind of unpaved road which makes it little difficult to drive. You will find a sign post on the main road from where you need to take a right to reach the resort. The first looks of the resort will definitely be refreshing as you find it on the banks of a large government water body with a tiny little hill in the backdrop. However when you know that there is no boating allowed, half the enthusiasm is fizzled It is a decent resort with the older cottages situated at ground level having a dull and uninspiring look while the newer cottages situated above ground level giving an above average well maintained look. Few of the cottages also offer 2 double beds for a bigger family. Coffee and Tea is something that could be much better considering that it is near to a coffee growing belt. Food was decent and homely though the variety was always limited to around 5-7. TV is available only in the Dining hall and it would have been good to at least have it individually in few rooms. There is a Carom board, Chess mat in the dining area for indoors and Badminton rackets, Volleyballs for outdoors If you are visiting during a weekend and with a family and kids, then please be warned that it is often frequented by group of guys spending their weekend here only for boozing and dancing with loud music. As you walk on the banks of the reservoir with your kids, you would be little shocked to find the place full of live and dead frogs. There is also this flies menace during the rainy days An individual camp-fire is organized by the management in front of each during the evening if it doesn't rain. You can order items for a charge from the Ala-Carte menu. The owner of the resort Mr. Manu is a friendly, courteous and helpful person.
I travelled with family and stayed in the Prakruth homestay, and this hotel was easy to locate as it was closer. The check in and checkout was done on time. The internal and external appearance of the hotel was good. The staff members were helpful and they were prompt in services. I ate food in the hotel and it was good in quality and in taste was like home made. The room allotted to me was nice with all required amenities in working condition. There were a few games available in the hotel. I will recommend this hotel to other travellers and it was worth the pay.
The hotel had provided the outdoor games. The staff of the hotel were good. The hotel had provided both vegetarian and non vegetarian food like south Indian. The quality of the food was good and tasty. The surroundings of the hotel were good. The room provided to me was neat, clean but not so spacious. I would not recommend this hotel for the family visit. The hotel was conveniently located.
Everything is good. Food is just awesome yummy taste and morning view from the resort is adorable. Reception staff were good. Service was good. Its worth for the money. Special mention about coffee. Staff are very polite and gave us enough privacy. Backwater reservoir of Cauvery river is delightful. Go to Coorg and don't miss this Prakruth resort.
Hotel ambience is great. The nature provides an exotic view and mind refreshing scenery. We got a good reception from the hotel staff. The food menu is good. The hotel is in the bank of a water reservoir and the views of the mountains in the background fills great joy. It is an ideal place to visit for a day or two.
The hotel was conveniently located but was in outskirts of the city. The appearance of the hotel was eye striking. The staff behaviour was responsive and good. The room was spacious and well maintained with all the amenities were functioning properly. There was no view from the room. They have restaurant in the hotel and the food was appetizing with lot of varieties. There is no delay in check-in and check-out. The money spent on the hotel is worth. I went there with my family and there was enough parking area. I would like to recommend this hotel to others.
