This was my holiday trip. I traveled Jaipur in the month of January 2017 along with my family. I am basically from Dehradun. I booked this hotel through online. The Location of the hotel was very nice. It was convenient to reach. It was nearby all sightseeing places bus stand and railway station. The appearance of the hotel was nice. The front desk was good to welcome us. The staff was good. The services were well kept. They serve on time. The room was very beautiful. It was tidy. The washroom was neat. All things were available in the room. WiFi facility was not available. The food was below average. The quality of the food was not good. They didn't provide complimentary food. The activities were very nice. There were no other fun amenities. I suggested the hotel management to improve food quality. Overall this hotel was good to stay.
A good with a good staff. Staff was cooperative. We get breakfast from hotel which was also good. Hotel is too green for morning walk and having a tea in lawn. Overall it's a good experience to stay there. It's a government hotel so it's safe and good.
This hotel was located just opposite the Jaipur Railway Station, but with the new flyover the approach has been blocked and you have to enter through a narrow lane. This once excellent property is now fully surrounded by other taller buildings and its frontage totally ruined. But I guess that is the price of development. The blessing is that it has not been pulled down and continues to attract guests because of its location. It has a small well kept garden at the entrance and also has parking space for a few cars. The rooms are small but comfortable and decently furnished, though the dining room could do with refurbishment. A value for money option al-right.
We visited Jaipur in the month of October and stayed at Hotel Swagatam. Considering it was a government hotel we expected a modest experience but unfortunately had the most disappointing one. The person at the front desk hardly looked at us when we approached the desk for check-in, moreover he asked us to get photocopies done of our ID proofs because his copier was not functioning that was practically unheard of in an hospitality industry. How can they ask guests to run around doing photocopies after a 6 hr journey? Anyway we checked in only to find the rooms to be equally distressing. Plasters were peeling off the walls, the fans were cracked, toilets were dirty and even the sheets were not changed even once in our stay of 4 days. The food was another disappointment. My daughter also got stomach infection with the food there. It is unfortunate that a state which is known for their tradition of hospitality should run such a hotel.
The best part of the hotel is its location. It is just near Jaipur railway station, for those travelling by train it's an advantage The service is very quick and staff are very cooperating and helpful. It is a part of, therefore it is well maintained too. Rooms are clean, housekeeping staff take care of all the cleanliness The food is very good and cooked in hygienic kitchen. One can have the food in their respective room or at the restaurant in the ground floor. Waiters too can take care of your personal choices One of the cons is the there is no elevator. So people with knee problems should request to get the ground floor rooms.
The location of the hotel was good and convenient. There was no delay in check-in and checkout. The interior and exterior of the hotel was very good. The food provided by the hotel was not that good. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. The room allotted to me was not good and maintained. All the amenities at the room were in working condition. The service provided by the hotel was good. I would like to recommend this hotel to other traveller and tourist too.
Good quality food and wellhead staff with spacious room. Good connectivity to public station like railway station, police station. Only issue is nearby locality. Otherwise I will recommend this hotel. Facility of online booking too is a positive point. Some public amusement can be added.
In last February I visited Jaipur and stayed in Hotel Swagatam. It is a very good hotel to stay with family. It is very safe, clean and maintained hotel by tourism department Govt. Of Rajasthan. Everyday in the morning, the room was cleaned, washed bed sheet and towel also supplied by them on demand The staff were very courteous and helpful. The food was very delicious. The only negative side of this hotel is it's approach road. The hotel is in a very depopulated area it is just about 2 minute walk from Jaipur railway station, so the people make the approach road unapproachable by making nuisance and throwing garbage in the road but once you have entered in side the hotel premises, it is very nice and maintained with garden and flowers.
Location is all about this particular property in Jaipur. The sprawling property is hardly 2 minute walk from Jaipur railway station. Head office of Rajasthan tourism development corporation shares the property with the hotel. The rooms are spacious, equipped with geyser, TV set. Equally spacious are their wash rooms All the Jaipur tourist attractions are within a radius of 4 km from this hotel. In fact if one plans properly, every tourist site can be covered on foot. Staff is courteous and prompt. The hotel has restaurant on ground floor, provides delicious veg and non-veg meals. Breakfast is on the house and sumptuous There is a tourist help desk, which can help you plan and hire vehicles. A small shop dishes out Rajasthan variety of handicrafts (stones are reasonably priced and guaranteed). The front office can book you for other hotels in the entire state, if you so desire The Property is maintained lawns and still they are making some changes with new varieties of flowers etc. In all a reasonably good hotel to stay and definitely value for money (though not extra-ordinary in any sense).

They gave us warm welcome will suitable and affordable tariffs of rooms with a healthy and hygienic complimentary breakfast. The management also guided us for our trip to certain places of interest.
