My stay was in February and it was a holiday trip with my family. As a destination it is an excellent place as over all a tourist place. Location of the hotel was good as it was on the river bank and the best way to reach is by road. Appearance of the hotel was excellent as the garden was good. Reception service was good as they behaved well and it was an online booking. Room was good as it was spacious. Hotel service was very good overall. Food was very good with a complimentary breakfast. Travel desk was available and was good. A good hotel for the stay with the river beside and a family can stay.
You can stay in this resort for mental peace. Excellent view of mountains and Ganga river. Property is also good. You can go for river rafting or can visit to holy places like Lakshman Jhoola or Devprayag or Har Ki Paudi, Haridwar (nearby). Food was good for non veg people and average for veg people.
I went with family for a long weekend, just get away from Delhi. Place was easy to find and location is very nice. However the rooms assigned to us were okay. There was a nice terrace but not attached. The rooms did have a damp smell. Toilets smell of sewage, specially when exhaust was on. I heard other guests also complaining the same. The . . Resort is nice, but not child friendly, no swings or a jungle gym. There were areas which were open drops and had no railing (unsafe for small children) Food was banquet variety, very bland and uninteresting. Breakfast was basic, only one non-veg item. Tea-coffee served at restaurant was pathetic. Overall a not so great, service.
Rishikesh is the one divine place in India and the Shivpuri is the rafting place of India. Here it was wonderful stay at Raga on the Ganges, very well-maintained, so helpful, very polite and co-operative staff. Very nice stay in cottage and the best part was a great and delicious food. The view of Ganga in the morning and sunrise exactly in front of my window. That was awesome feeling.
This hotel is quite far from Rishikesh, good quality food and helpful staff with prompt check in and check out facilities. Good property with Ganga view rooms which were clean and all amenities are in working condition. This hotel has a spa and I found this hotel good value for money, I would recommend this hotel to others.
