Raj ghat

It is situated south of red fort on the banks of the yamuna river, a simple black- marble platform marks the spot where mahatma gandhi was cremated following his assassination in 1948.A beautiful garden is all around it. You can also visit gandhi darshan, a huge pavalion displaying photos relating to the mahatma gandhi.

Nice to visit during late afternoons

Well maintained enclosure where the greatest Indian is buried - Gandhiji... Feels good to be there and a must visit for all Indians... There is no entry fee to this place which is a good move... Nice to visit during late afternoons.
