Nice weekend getaway destination. Waterfront villas give you beautiful sightseeing throughout the whole day. It offers quality food and beverages, excellent service and great parking facilities. There is a room for fun and indoor game activities. Outside gaming is restricted as there is a chance for disturbance to other guests. Rooms and food items are a bit costly, but you can enjoy your weekend completely.
We stayed at Ramada Resort for 2 nights in March 2014. We booked Beach Holidays Package from RPC Holidays. They did all arrangements very well. It was an amazing experience. The location of resort is excellent as it just off the highway. The service is amazing and the staff is very smiley and friendly and polite. The fantastic rooms with a view of the pool with the adjacent backwaters. The food at the restaurant is fantastic. We enjoyed boating and ayurveda massage. The swimming pool is wonderful and clean. Overall, Ramada Resort is an excellent choice if you want to relax from busy life. I strongly recommend to experience this nature touching feel. Thanks RPC Holidays for this arranging holidays in Kochi.
I stayed there for three days. This was a relaxation trip with my family. Nothing was complimentary. It is around half an hour from flight. I went there on my own. It was both romantic and relaxation trip. We did not have food inside the hotel. We had it outside. Booking was done through on-line. There was no problem regarding check in and check out. Rooms were good. They were posh. Room service and staff service was good. Reception people were very good. Appearance of the hotel was also very good. Location wise, it was good. Activities were not available there. Swimming pool was there and I enjoyed in it. Cochin as a place is very good. It is a five star property. Lake view was available from the room. Welcome drink was given on arrival and it was good. I visited there in March 2014. It was a luxury kind of property.
Prices for everything are sky high. A plate of 3 small chapatis costs 150 bucks with tax. A cup of tea costs 152 bucks with tax. The superior rooms we took reminded me of the story of man in hospital with a wall outside the window, literally. There is no view, and an ugly marriage mandap just outside the window/balcony which makes you feel choked. Rooms have no switches but an electronic button panel for all lights, which is a nightmare to master. Turning off all lights to sleep requires permutation and combination of these switch panels, and 3 calls to housekeeping for help. On the positive side, staff were courteous and prompt. The buffet breakfast is well spread out, and the swimming pool is a good one, with nice view.
This was my family trip. This was a normal standard room, it was not a cottage. Rooms were clean and spacious. Morning breakfast was complimentary. Varieties like idli, dose or everything were there. No view was there from my room. They had a very big pool. We stayed there only for a day so I have no idea about the activities. All amenities such as AC, TV, freeze or everything was available there. Room was good. Room service and staff service was also good. Reception people were good. Welcome drink was not provided on arrival. There was no problem in check in or check out. Appearance of the hotel was good. It was outside the city. Location of the hotel was good. Food and drink was also good. Cochin as a place is a very good place. Rooms were redecorated. If you come to the balcony you can see nice lake view and pool view. They had nice ample parking. I went there by taxi. No pickup and drop facility was there. I went there in May or June. It was reasonable.
