I stayed at Syna Heritage Hotel for 1 night recently. I arrived early as my flight landed at 7am but after hiring a taxi arrived around 8am to the resort. The reception staff greeted me and accepted me for no extra charge into my allocated room. Staff were very pleasant & helpful . I had booked the basic style room which was okay . Fairly simple but comfortable enough with fans & AC & ensuite. Breakfast was included in the room rate I chose & also simple but adequate . The restaurant for dinner didn't kerp many menu items listed but Indian style gravy with rice was fine . This property is a bit out if town but reception can call a cab for your travels. There is no Uber in Khajuraho but plenty of tourist taxis . Just negotiate a price for the distance you need to travel. I'm board a‚¹200 from the airport to the hotel. I then used the same taxi guy for a 6 hour tour of the monuments for transport. Total a‚¹1000 for the airport delivery & 6 hour tour. So pretty reasonable . But he did take me to various 'friends' shops also. Be strong though if you don't want to buy anything . Just look & say you're not buying today . Back to the hotel. Landscaping is very pleasant & decor is old Indian palace charm . Good hotel for a small budget.
A hotel that is very close and accessible to the western group of hotels, Khajuraho that you can literally walk down, the exterior of the hotel looks like a palatial house that is renovated into a hotel, the rooms looks decent though nothing great and the service and food is average. The pool looks good though didn't get a chance to take a dip.
Syna heritage hotel is a posh stay in heritage town of Khajuraho which is world famous for 10th century temples. The pool is nice here and the gardens are very well maintained too. Food is not so great though. Can be an expensive option but you can have a sense of heritage. It's 10min walk from Sound & Light show and Western group of temples.
The hotel is located very close to the Western Group of temples yet is far away from the noise and crowd. Location is very convenient. The hotel design exudes a traditional theme, on the outside but the rooms are unfortunately not designed with the same ethos. Once inside, it could've be any other hotel which is slightly disappointing. Also the rooms are a bit a cramped and the walls are really thin. So you can hear everything from the next room if you've got noisy neighbours. Satisfactory nevertheless.
If you are looking for a comfortable hotel that is near the Western Group of Temples then Syna Heritage is very ideal. Its quiet, tucked away in a corner and yet walking distance from the main market. The facade looks grand, like a palace and the vintage cars parked at the entrance add to the charm. But the rooms - especially the deluxe rooms that I stayed in were quite small for twin sharing. The walls are also very thin and so you can hear all that is going on in the next room. But the rooms come with all required amenities and they are very clean. Ask for two separate beds if you are sharing it with a friend. We asked for separate blankets. Service is good, food is decent and the ambience is pleasant.
My husbend and I went to see khujraho temples which are very different from our usual temples. A nice departure. We booked Syna heritage hotel for two nights from make my trip. I was not happy at first to see the deluxe room we had booked. It was small and not up to standard but when we complained we were upgraded to superior deluxe which was very nice. Our heartiest thanks to Mr. Abhishek Gupta Resident manager. He was very nice and helpful infect all the staff was very polite and good. Food was very tasty. They even provided us breakfast at 5. 30 am as we were leaving at 6 am. Overall a very nice hotel will recommend it to all.
