Before writing any thing about the Sanctuary Resort Hotel, Ranthambhore I wish to tell you that on account of my assignment of Inspection on Mobile duty in a Public Sector Bank, I had an opportunity of visiting across the country and stayed in good hotels in various cities all over the country. Besides, I have visited France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Italy, Luxembourg, UAE, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Nepal out side India and stayed with my family in three star to five star hotels. So I have a rich experience of staying in Hotels and Resorts . . I used to visit Sawai Madhopur, the town near Ranthambhore National Park. On account of my official work. I have stayed in several Hotels there. One day, I had a chance to visit Sawai Madhopur with my Deputy General Manager ,, who suggested me to stay at Sanctuary Resort Hotel Ranthambore (referred to as in this article). It was amazing to find such a nice place very close to the mother nature that too at a very reasonable cost. I thank again and again to my Deputy General Manager who had suggested me for this Hotel. It was not only a beautiful building but its surroundings also add more beauty to this hotel. It is a place like a resort, but we can feel like a home here. The working style and behavior of entire staff is so nice that any body feels a family atmosphere while staying here. Shri Narottam Sharma a qualified Engineer and the owner of deals with the customers in such a way that he feels like a family member and it is best part of my story. I was so much impressed with that after that day, whenever I visit Ranthambhore or Sawai Madhopur, I stayed only in. BRIEFLY, I CAN SAY THAT IS A PLACE WHERE you CAN ENJOY YOUR HOLIDAYS OR CONVERT A BUSINESS TOUR INTO A PLEASURE TRIP AT A VERY AFFORDABLE COST WITHOUT COMPROMISING THE COMFORT, QUALITY AND PLEASURE ABOUT THE AMENITIES: As soon as you enter the resort, one can easily realist that he has come to a right place. Spacious parking space, elegant view of the premises, lush green garden, centrally located Swimming Pool, warm welcome at the tidy and beautiful reception will make you smile even when you are very tired after a long journey. You will however, feel great pleasure when you occupy a room in this resort. You will forget the tiredness of journey as soon as you enter the nicely built room with aesthetically toned interiors. What a lovely view of mother nature is seen from the windows of the resort. Rooms are spacious, clean and very well maintained. Facility of telephone as well as Cable TV is available in every room. The TVs are of very good make and good reception quality. I am very particular about the bathrooms and I am very much satisfied with the overall quality, hygienic conditions and cleanliness of the bathrooms. Bed Sheets and linen used in the room are very clean and sober. Beds are very comfortable. All necessary furniture like Sofa, chairs, Centre Table, Dressing table have been provided in the rooms and that too aesthetically designed. SERVICES: Room service and Housekeeping is excellent and to my great satisfaction. Staff is very courteous and behaves like a family member with a smiling face. Services are prompt. Best part of the stay in is its quality of food. You will feel like a home while dining in its dining hall or in open lawn, choice is yours, You will enjoy the food here at a relatively reasonable and affordable cost. If you are willing to visit Ranthambore National Park, the hotel staff will also help you in booking your seats for that visit also AdVICE TO TRAVELLERS: In my opinion, when you are planning to visit Ranthambhore or Sawai Madhopur, forget all worries and remember the name of and make a call to Mr. Narottam Sharma owner of the resort. There are so many hotels in nearby area, but it is the only place where one cane get comfortable stay and home like food at a very reasonable cost THINGS I WOULD DO DIFFERENTLY: Truly speaking, I don't need any thing which I would like to do differently while staying at. This is the main beauty of this place that I stay only at while in Sawai Madhopur or Ranthambhore. However, I carry my own hair oil, shaving kit and shoe shiner which are not provided by the establishment, but it is a common thing in most of the hotels and I always keep them in my travel kit.
It was an official visit. My overall, experience in this hotel was good but services were bad there. The best thing of this hotel was its location. Hotel was very much convenient. No problem in reaching the location. It was located near to railway station. Surroundings of the hotel were very good. It was neat, clean and maintained. Exterior was very good. Outside look of the hotel was good but from inside it was average Services of the hotel were poor. If you want to order anything in the hotel then it will take one hour. There was very less number of staff in this hotel. Room was average. It was spacious. Pillows, bed sheet, blankets and all were okay. It was AC room. AC, TV, geyser, etc. Were in working condition. View of mountain was visible from the room. Wash room was average in this hotel. Hot and cold water facility was available there I had taken food in this hotel. It was good. Price wise, it was very reasonable. Varieties were average there. Veg and non-veg both types of food were available in this hotel. Manpower was the main problem of this hotel. Swimming pool was there. I can recommend this hotel to other travellers. It was okay. Location like greenery and all were good there only they have to manage the services. Destination is average. Location wise, it was very good. Appearance wise, Booking, front office and reception services were bad. Services were also bad. Food and drink was good. Activity was average.
The basic objective of visiting this property was to use it a base point to make safari excursions. An ideal location, a wee bit off the main road to give it an exclusive niche. The front office was not impressive, but quite functional. The manager was personally available at the service of each guest (flip side: the place is understaffed). The pool is not exactly the epitome of a modern-day sanitized unit. Location wise it is almost at the door-step of all ground level rooms, making it inconvenient for some guests, especially when those using the pool did not behave at their best. The bathrooms (at least mine) could be better maintained in respect of the cistern and the wc. Hand held pressure controlled bidet sprays are now a compulsory necessity in India. The hotel should work on it. What worried me the most was the absolutely unclean blankets. Perhaps they should have laundered duvet covers for each fresh occupancy. A wee bit spent extra on staff uniforms can do wonders to the overall impression. The food preparations were delicious, and nutritionally balanced but the non availability of chilled soft drinks could not be appreciated. This does not go well with the lovely wrought iron garden accessories. Do not miss the record book holding pedestal fan kept at the living area of the owners. Also not to be missed is the exquisite panorama of the aravalli range on the rear. The resort makes arrangements for booking your safaris. An important requirement is advance submission of government issued photo ids. But the dynamics of your trip are a little quirky. It is necessary that all seats are filled, so if you don't have a housefull, neither the guest nor the hotel has any control over it unless of course you pay for the remaining seats, which is not a stupid idea and doesn't cause any exorbitant damages.
For a business trip with colleagues in the month of February, I visited this city. An excellent city to visit, explore much as my purpose was different. The hotel location was excellent; the hotel was near to my destination. The appearance of the hotel was excellent, it was a new building, and the atmosphere was good. It was an online booking. The front office was good, the staff's was welcoming. The rooms was very good, it was clean and comfortable. Room service was provided, an appreciable effort. The food was very good to taste, complimentary breakfast was provided. The parking facility was available. The hotel had very good leisure activities. It was a nice stay.
The hotel location was far from railway station but I did not find any difficulty to find it. The service of the staff was nice and friendly, helpful and hygienic. The staff were quick attentive and they serve in time. Both the internal and external appearance was very good looking. The room was good, hygienic and spacious with all amenities in good condition. There were north Indian foods was average. The check-in and check-out procedures were good. There was a swimming pool but we did not utilise it. The stay was worthy and can be recommended.
