Sant Dhyaneswar Mandir Overview
Ranked 1 of 9 sightseeing in Alandi Sant Dhyaneswar Mandir was built in 1570 AD, where the famous saint Dhyaneswar attained Samadhi in front of the lord Siddheswara or Panduranga. Sant Dhyaneswar preached and encouraged people to pray the Lord Panduranga. There are regular kirtans and sermons held in the premises where the Sant Dhyaneswar temple is located.
The Samadhi and the temple of Sant Dhyaneswar are visited by many Hindu devotees, throughout the year, especially by the varkari sect people. At the banks of Indrayani River, two fairs are held annually during the month of Ashadha and Kartik, where pilgrims gather and pray the Lord.
