Goddess Saptashrungi temple situated on hill

Very beautiful place and you have to take 10 km hill driving to reach here. Also have to take 400-500 steps to reach the goddess temple. Beware of monkeys in the temple. Very nice place. Goddess idol is very much attractive.

Powerful Mandir

This was my first visit to this temple with my family. The drive to this temple just draws you towards it. Beautiful drive up the mountain along a good road. Nice to be present during the midday arati if possible. This is where Sati Mata's right arm and hand had fallen. Mataji appeared within the wall of the cave and is worshipped with great reverence here. Men can carry you up to the top in a doli for those having difficulty to climb the steps. It can cost you Rs 700 return trip in the doli but it's well worth it. It's amazing how these men run up and down so energetically to take Maa's devotees to Her feet. Bless these souls!

Very beautiful and Religious place with nature's beauty

One of the beautiful place around the Nasik region. The important part that rituals enjoy both the things. Religiousness and natures beauty. The mata devis temple is absolutely amazing. The devotees will help you out to have safe and secure Darshan of Mata Devi.

View from the top is picturesque

It takes hardly 30 to 40 minutes to climb the stairs. View from the top is picturesque. It is about 1.30 hours journey from Nashik. If one starts early in the morning (Say at 8:30 or 9 am), one can be back to Nashik for lunch around 1 or 1:30 pm. You can also take a halt at the place while going to Saputara.

Jai Mata Di

Climbing 308 steps to reach Mata. This is the place where Durga took rest after killing Mahishasura. You can see Mata even if you are standing in the queue. Lots of monkeys are there but are harmless. Do no play pranks with them otherwise they will take away eatables from you. DO NOT TAKE PHOTOS as CCTV is there. Store Durga in your mind and not in your photos. Happy Vacation. :-)
