Longest bridge of gawahati

This is the longest bridge of the city and the public were so proud about the bridge. It's not that different apart from the view of the river which is breathtaking. A ride along the bridge is a good time pass for an evening.

One of the best attraction

One of the best attractions if you are a photographer. Please try to visit after 2 PM. So that you can have a clear view of the bridge along-with the sun shining on the river as a mirage.

Heart and Soul of Guwahti City and North East India

Saraighat Bridge connects Guwahati city and most of the North East states to the outside world. The double storey bridge can be viewed and admired from different part of Guwahati city. Walking on the bridge is fun. Best time to admire the beauty of the bridge is the Sunset from the Umananda or Bharalumukh.

Lovely evening spent

Visit the place to spend the evening with your friends or as couple. You will love it for sure. The mighty river view, cool breeze, lovely scenic views - all these just make the place worth to visit. Yes the road might be congested there but it's absolutely amazing beside the river bank in the evening. DON'T GO INTO THE WATER!

A kilometre long bridge

This is one of the very few bridges in the world, which is a two tier architecture, with the vehicular traffic on the 1st tier and the train on the ground floor. Not to mention this bridge is more than a kilometre long, providing a magnificent view of the Brahmaputra River.
