The Sawai Man Singh Sanctuary is situated at 9 km from the city of Sawai Madhopur, at the confluence of Aravalli and Vindhyan Hill. The area of this sanctuary is rich in bio-diversity. It is home to many rare species of flora and fauna. Main vegetation carried on at this sanctuary includes trees of kadaya, amaltas, khaair, kadamb, goya khair, cheela, raunj, tendu, gurjan, siras, jamun, khirni, saintha, salar, and kathphadi.
The popular fauna species found at this sanctuary are chinkara, nilgai, panther, chital, sambhar, hare, wild boar, sloth beer fox, jackal, hare, hyena and jingle cat along with birds like sand grouse, stone curlews, peacock, partridges, quails, minivets, vultures, flycatchers, tits, orioles, parakeets and sparrow.
