Just an exciting place to be Spent two weeks in the resort, was there for some professional work. Staff is courteous and service is quick and customized. Jawhar is a place to visit during monsoon to see the nature's bounty at its peak with greenery around and many waterfalls. Early mornings are the time when one really enjoys the stay at this hotel with clouds surrounding you. Feels like enriching our lives with the fresh air around and the cool and serene climate in the surrounding This is the place to stay if you really want to spend some quality time away from the deadlines of the daily life.
Resorts location is very good, veg & non veg food is very good, rooms are average. Not so clean, we have booked two rooms but both rooms TV not working . . Overall resort is good as price base. Resort owner is very helpful.
I visited this resort last week with bunch of friends. Place was so beautiful and serene & on top of it. The amazing location & the staff courtesy. Fantastic & superb. Rooms have all basic amenities what you expect in a rural place. The property also has a mini water park & a small pool too which were maintained at their utmost. For food, Gavti chicken & nachni bhakri (a must try) were simply fabulous. A camp fire had been arranged for us which we enjoyed a lot. Overall can be recommended for a peaceful weekend from Mumbai.
I stayed for a day, can't stay more days in that rooms, because it is not up to the mark. Thin bed sheets bedbugs shall accompany you. Rooms are expensive as per the standard. The place is scenic and serene and outside the city. They need to improvise in room quality if they want to charge Rs 1400 for Non-AC on weekdays.
It is a budget hotel and vegetarian food is only available. Good food quality, Very near to railway station. Staff is not that much support. Separate hall is available for party and Catering service is good. And we enjoyed a lot and it is a very nice hotel
Its a place where you can live for just a day. The resort is located next to the Jaisagar Lake, making scenic beauty outside the balcony a very beautiful one. But the quality of rooms are not that great (Understand that being in a remote village). There are bugs and ants in the room , which are not welcome
3 hours from Mumbai is a little known place called Jawhar. As we took a right from the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Highway at Manor, after a small stretch of bad road started the beautiful countryside drive through forests and unlimited stretches of greenery still untouched by commercialisation. The undulating landscape on either side of the road, dotted with occasional springs and waterfalls is a visual treat and an experience to cherish. The best thing is the sparse traffic on the road, so sparse that we stopped by the side and took photographs standing right on the middle of the road. We crossed adivasi villages and adivasi people standing on the side of the road which appeared to be a view straight out of a history book. The greenery of the the surrounding landscape is something that will take us back there again and again. Dhabosa waterfalls, Jaisagar lake, sunset point, the palace, are the places to see around. But the best is the 360 degree view of Jawhar that you get from Sherpamal. On a weekend when travellers were struggling in the traffic snarls in Lonavala and Mahabaleswar, we here at Jawhar was experiencing tranquility and serene, virgin nature untouched by development. Shanti Sarovar Resort has the advantage of being nestled at a little height bang across the Jai Sagar Lake.
