Easy access to railway station and ST bus stand

Posted 28 Dec, 2016

Me and my wife stayed in the hotel for three days/nights as a part of our pilgrimage to Pandharpur, Akkalkot and Tuljhapur. It was a comfortable stay because of the hotel's proximity to railway station and ST Bus stand. The desk manager was good to reply to all my queries. But the service staff was not that good and had no initiative to help. Food was okay in the attached restaurant. The WiFi facility was free and good. In my opinion, hot water must be made available in the evening/night time also. For a short stay it is good budget hotel and so I recommend It.

Location of the hotel is comfortable

Posted 20 Dec, 2016

Destination of the hotel was good. The location of the hotel was good. The internal and external appearance of the hotel was good. There was no delay in check in and checkout. The staff members in the hotel were helpful and quick in services. The room allotted to me was very good and it was well maintained with all required amenities in working condition. I ate food outside the hotel. There were no activities in the hotel.

Good budgeted Hotel, rooms were well-done

Posted 5 Jan, 2016

I visited Solapur in End of Sept-Oct 2015 for Pilgrimage tour. I was looking for a Decent Hotel and Shivparvati Suited me the Best. I is decently located around the centre of the town 2Kms from nearby restaurants and market. It is a Lodge so don't expect much from it. Rooms were good and but there was delay in service esp the Hot Water Food:Has a small cafeteria in the Basement which you can access. Again limited options there. You can have your meals there, much of a Maharashtrian Delight, I being a Maharashtrian liked the food Cheap and Tasty. You also have restaurant and eateries around which you can choose from I would advice people if they are looking for budgeted hotels then this should be a good option. We wanted Taxi for the Religious destination and the Hotel Did provide one, again a good bargain for 3 off us. I think the hotel staff can be more prompt and this should help the service better. Overall a nice place to stay if you are not looking for Luxury.

Good hotel to stay but service was terrible

Posted 6 Apr, 2015

I visited Solapur for a religious visit to Pandharpur, Tuljapur and Akkalkot. After Reading the reviews I felt that the hotel will be a decent hotel but sadly it wasn't a hotel, it was a lodge. The rooms were very shady, the washroom was not clean, the television wasn't working. Even for an AC remote we had to ask the room service person 4 to 5 times to get the remote. The room service people weren't good either. They weren't ready to change the bed linen since we stayed there for 2 days. The food we ordered was also not good. The room service was rather very terrible. The person who came to lift our luggage would handover half of the luggage to us. All in all please do not stay at this lodge because it is total waste of money, there are many good hotels who won't mislead you by saying it as a hotel and actually being a lodge.

Decent option in Solapur

Posted 31 Jan, 2015

The Shivparvati International Hotel is a good option for stay in Solapur. I was there on work, and stayed there for a couple of days before finding an long-term accommodation. The location of the hotel is quite convenient. The room was comfortable and had the required amenities. The hotel looked really good from the outside. Though the inside isn't as posh as it seems, it's still good. The front office was normal, courteous and helpful when needed.

The restaurant serves Maharashtrain Thali

Posted 19 Aug, 2013

I did not anything about this hotel. As we were intended to visit Tuljpur ,Naldurgwhich is famous for it\'s PANIMAHAL and Akkalkot I didn\'t plan very well We reached there only hearing this hotel\'s name by local traveller in Hutatma Express. We went very late in the evening got the room for 1000 rs. The restaurant serves Maharashtrian Thali with local Shengachatni. The room was also neat and tidy. The breakfast menu was also varied. We stayed only for overnight. So I don\'t know any other thing about the hotel. Only exception was that when I enquired about cab to my visiting places he told the rate of cab 8rs./km. I booked cab 7 Rs./ km from the tour and travel shop near ST stand. But overall Hotel was good.
