The Shreevardhan Fort also known as the Rajmachi Fort is one of the significant sightseeing attractions of the Rajmachi town. This ancient fort lies in the eastern region of this town and is said to have been invaded by the Maratha rulers. The structure of this fort also carries the touch of Maratha style of architecture and its main attraction includes an imposing entrance, which has been built in a semicircular shape.

The fort is built at the pinnacle, which is one of the peaks in Rajmachi town. Due to this, it provides a clear view of the movements in its downhill region.  Its surroundings mainly comprise wide greenish landscapes and hilly terrains. The interiors of this fort also comprise several Buddhist caves along with two water tanks that provide plenty of water supplies throughout the year. Its Buddhist caves are known as the Kondhane caves and were carved in 200 BC. The fort also has the Bhairavnath temple as one of its attractions.
