Laughter & back to childhood of all ages waterfall

It was a pleasant surprise for me and my husband to see the beauty of nature alive. The flattering butterflies all over and chill siruvani water from above the hills.

Highly adventurous tour deep into dense forest

Siruvani dam is around 35 km from Coimbatore city and about 46km from Palakkad town. The dam is situated well inside a deep forest which is a house for all sorts of wild animals. The dam surrounded by high mountains covered with forests and waterfalls offer a good treat for your eyes. The ride in the forest is in our own vehicle which increases the risk factor considerably. The best season to visit is June to December. There is a bungalow named 'Pattiar Bungalow' in the middle of the forest facing the dam where you could stay in the night. The chance of viewing wild animals is purely based on luck but we were fortunate to see a tiger, a bison and a king cobra. To enter into the Siruvani forest area and to stay in the bungalow you need prior permission.

Be careful near the falls

One can get good air to breath. Very nice location to visit with family. While going closer to the falls, be careful. One has to walk for nearly 20 minutes to reach the falls.
