Awesome sun rise view point

24. 12. 2016, morning time we moved towards Sitapur beach which is very close to Sarthak Residency, where we stayed for two nights. Sitapur beach is situated at the tip of the Neil Island. It's a renowned beach along with the vast sea. Crystal bluish colour water & deep blue sky forms a mesmerising image to every visitor. Sitapur beach also offers a breathtaking picturesque along with white sand seashore. Best time to visit the beach at the dawn when the sun rises above the horizon. Enjoy the beach full.

Clean, serene, peaceful and beautiful

This is a very clean beach, calm and serene. When we went there, we were the only ones on that beach. Well, technically not the only ones, we had four wonderful dogs for company. They would always be ahead of us on our journey. We were walking slowly and enjoying the sights and sounds. If the dogs would go a little far, they would settle down there and wait for us to come. The water looked tempting but there were quite a few rocks as well. As a result I did not venture into the water. A dog sensed my predicament and went ahead into the water and sat on one of the flat rocks. It was enjoying the waves coming to the shore and drenching it. When the waves would break much before the shore, the dog ventured a little further in to soak in the water. After walking for some time on the beach and reaching the point where the dogs were waiting for us, we decided to turn back. As if understanding all our plans, the dogs too got up and returned with us to the place where our car was waiting. I think they were there to give us company on that beautiful beach and ensure that we didn't feel too lonely in that wilderness. On the way to the beach we saw huge drums full of coconut shells being burnt. Our driver informed us that the locals were treating the shells for creating cloth from coconut fibre. There is lots of greenery all around just like the other islands of Andaman. A lovely place to spend a lazy time doing nothing.

Beautiful Beach

It is a small but beautiful beach worth visiting and also for swimming. Lot of trees are in both end of the beach makes it more beautiful. Water is turquoise and transparent.

A nice and lonely Beach

We spent their an hour. A good, lonely beach. Good for photography and ideal for romantic couple. But bathing facility is not there, no food stall or water sports there.

Sunrise Point with lush green surroundings

This beach is an open sea and prone to higher tides. It is 5 kilometers to the south at the tip of the island. This beach is best point to watch the sunrise. The road from Pearl Park Beach Resort, Laxmanpur to Sitapur beach is aligned with green fields and trees.

Unexplored sunrise point

To go to the Sitapur Beach, you need to get up and leave by 4.30 am (winter), and you also need to have a vehicle to take you there. The beach is the eastern most, but what a splendid view of the sunrise does it give. I went on both the mornings and was witness to the best sunrise I have ever seen.
