This lodging was prescribed to us by a homestay as a little extravagance in the middle of a day trip in the backwaters and a night on a house vessel. We watched a typhoon come nearer from a little cabin in the greenery enclosures that was truly fun The setting is dazzling, and private pontoon ride there is such a fun expansion. Invited with beverages and neighborly staff. The room was normal, with almost no common light and not solid confirmation so we had the capacity hear youngsters sitting in front of the TV upstairs which wasn't exceptionally unwinding - however the arranging encompassing the verifiable structures are likely the spot to be in a setting, for example, this We had Ayurvedic back rubs in the treatment focus. We hadn't had this sort of back rub some time recently, and it wasn't something both of us were utilized to. We've never been asked to simply wear expendable jeans, and they pour and rub oil ALL over you. Maybe we're as a rule hardened upper lip Brits, yet it wasn't the unwinding hour we're utilized to! You need to have a meeting with a specialist before you have this back rub as well. Extremely odd It was off season, so I assume that was the reason a great deal of things were accessible on the menu. We additionally needed to request our nourishment an hour ahead of time from our rooms, and afterward make a beeline for the eatery after. It's most likely diverse in crest season. Again attributable to it being off season, there were tempests, so we lost power as often as possible at night, however one needs to expect this in tempests The staff were well disposed, and I would certainly suggest this place, the setting is truly otherworldly and sentimental.
We visited Kerala last year to enjoy the natural beauty of the place. During this visit we stayed in this beautiful hotel. The location of the hotel is awesome. It is a peaceful, serene place. Rooms are large and comfortable. Toilets are clean and shiny. Foods provided in the lunch are hygienic and tasty. We were thrilled.
I stayed in this hotel with my wife during a short trip to Vaikom. I had driven a car for 10-11 hours and wanted a nice place to relax and this resort came as an elixir. As the location was a bit unusual, we were asked to wait near the gate with car. Then one boat came and the security guard helped us park a car. From that location, we boarded the boat with luggage and reached this marvelous resort in the middle of lake. The boat ride was provided free of cost to all the guests free-of-cost Once we reached there, we were welcomed with a refreshing welcome drink. Then we were guided to the room. The rooms were small and connecting. They had wooden interiors with ancient touch. The overall, room appearance was similar to houseboat. As there is mosquito trouble, mosquito net was attached over the bed. The bathroom was also small but sufficed our needs. Complimentary breakfast was delicious. However, dinner was expensive and there was no other choice as we were in the middle of lake. Overall, it was a good experience for a short trip Advice : Carry mosquito repellent.
I and my husband along with our 6 yr old son visited this place in the month of August, 2014. Must say the place is awesome and as it can be accessed only through their private jetty which comes for a pick-up at the dock, the tranquility is maintained. We got upgraded to one of the best rooms - The Maharaja Suite. Which has completely wooden furnished interiors to give you the authentic feel. Service is superb and was lucky to have customized and private candle light dinner at their sunset watching tower. Enjoyed my stay.
Nice location surrounding water, Excellent Rooms, Beautiful Landscaping . Best Experience: as it was 5 star hotel and so expected, designs and facilities and services were very good but I will point out. - The food, steaks and were okay. They have 1 restaurants - rooms were large and everything was designed nicely. Beds were very comfortable and we had a full glass window view of Lake from our room. - Pool was very large and there are many pool side benches to rest and we enjoyed I would love pool was on ground :) - we experienced good services. And staff is educated and talk nicely. Though we did not need anything special but still I think they had fast service. - I think the cost was around 1000 per day for our deluxe rooms each. The rooms and facilities they gave in this were expected but still exceptional from other average hotels
