Sri Bhagandeshwara temple is a major pilgrimage attraction situated in the vicinity of Talacauvery (Talakaveri), at a distance of 7 km.  Built in Kerala style of temple architecture, Sri Bhagandeshwara temple is situated nearby Triveni Sangama, the holy confluence of the Rivers Sujyothi, Cauvery and Kannike.

Sri Bhagandeshwara temple, known also as Bhagundeshwara Kshetra, is located at Bhagamandala village of Coorg District of Karnataka. The temple is dedicated to Lord Bhagandeshwara (Shiva), Lord Subramanya and Lord Narayana.   

Sri Bhagandeshwara temple is believed to be more than 1000 years old. It is believed that the temple and the village are named after Sage Bhaganda who consecrated the idol at this place. The temple was renovated many times by different dynasties, who ruled over Bhagamandala.
