Must see temple

We visited here while going to Tirupati Balaji. It is a must see Temple. Though the management of the temple is average but it is very crowded due to visit of all deities who visit Tirupati Balaji.

Not to miss when in Tirupati

I visited this temple very regularly as my office branch is also located so. This is one my favourite temple as because here there won't be any "compulsion of giving money compulsory to puja or anything..! " The special day to visit this temple is "Saturday" because on this day the temple will be lighted with natural lights that is "deepam" everywhere in the temple. The temple will offer "special puja" to the devotees for no charge. So visit this place when you go to Tirupati don't miss.

Centrally located and good to visit in Oct-Nov months

It is centrally located temple in Tirupati town. The abode of "Lord Venkateswara". The best time to visit the temple is during the month of "October-November" to have the view of "Brahmotsavam". At this time the "special pujas" such as "Dolo chavan", "Vahana sevas" and "Golden chariot" procession will be conducted. The god will be decorated with different type of flowers and also "special aarti" will be given to the god.

Less crowd here

Immediately after the prayers at Goddess Padmavati, left for Govindaraja. There are few many temples surrounding this and visited each and one of them. Crowd was very less and it was a breeze to have darshan with peace!!

Temple in centre of town of Tirupati

It is about 2kms from city bus stand and 1kms from railway station. It is the largest temple in Town of Tirupati. We can see huge shops around can purchase for children and ladies and photoes can be seen sold. Autos are also available, several types of poojas are well performed. I finally advise travellers to visit this place.

Old yet serene temple

Sri Govindarajaswami is the elder brother of Lord Venkateswara Swami. This temple is located at a walking distance of one Kilometre from the Tirupati Central Bus Stand. There are a number of eateries located near the temple. Also accommodation facilities are available at nearby hotel. The gopuram of the temple is worth noting. The architecture is remarkable and depicts the South Indian culture and tradition.

Very old temple in Dravidian style

Tirupati Kodandarama Swamy an ancient temple was constructed by king Janamejaya (pandava dynasty) great grandson of Arjuna and grandson of Abhimanyu. The deity was enshrined by Jambavantha (Lord Rama's Warrior in Ramayana). This is only temple where sitamma was in a standing position at right side of lord. The temple was constructed by Dravidian style, the main temple resembles Venkateswara swamy temple in Tirumala.
