Temple of Lord Shiva

We visited this fantastic place in evening. This temple is only temple of Lord Shiva in Tirupati. It houses other so many small temples also. Pilgrims normally proceed to Tirumala for Darshan after taking a customary dip in the temple tank. Located amidst beautiful foothills of Tirumala, The place is also known for its natural water falls. Must visit place of Tirupati.

Excellent temple of Lord Shiva with a gigantic waterfall

This temple is located in Tirupati and near Tirumala at a distance of 20kms from Tirumala. So the travellers to tirumala can also visit this "marvellous place with a huge waterfall in temple and with a little koneru". We visited this temple as a visit on the way to Tirumala. The waterfall is "awesome and very gigantic" devotees enter into the temple by having shower in after that only. The temple is famous as the "Lord Shiva" is present here. The best visit time is during "Mahashivaratri" as at that time the temple will decorated with "deepa's and flowers" and "special aarti" will be there.

Best time to visit is in the morning

This temple is located down to the Tirumala Temple and it is the best time we spent. And the "special appearance" of the temple is "waterfall falling from 100ft height" in the temple not anywhere. At the time of Pournami the "Lord Shiva" will be give darshan in "Jyothi Lingam" and the whole temple will be decorated with flowers. The "Deeparchana is special" and it is recommended to visit during morning to have fun in waterfall while night time it is not permitted to go the waterfall.

Holy abode of Shiva amidst nature and serenity

The lord Shiva is the main deity of the temple. The waterfall in the temple premises was awesome. Because of heavy rains in Tirumala the waterfall was running full. A perfect place of worship for today's world. I say this because everybody would want to do bhakti with some enjoyment. Science with spirituality. This is a perfect place for such combination.

Temple of goodness and well wishes

It is a temple of goodness and well wishes it is about 5kms from Tirupathi APSRTC bus stand. Here we can see the water jumping down as a falls above the rock, the water will be flowing from the rock by force so that if we take the bath here all our body pains will be vanished. It is a temple of lord Shiva and Parvathi Devi, I advice the travellers to come here and see the joy of waterfalls.

Enchanting Shiva Darshan

This shrine for lord Shiva is located about 3 km from Tirupati. As kapila maharshi instilled the sivalinga here, the deity is called Kapileswara and the tirtham is known as Kapilatirtham. Good place to visit.

Take a bath here

This is the only Shiva temple in Tirupati, a worthwhile visit, if possible bath in Teertham (pond) here before heading to Tirumala.
