God watches everything

The temple is kept clean and good. The vehicle of God, the peacock is kept caged which is against the Nature created by God. The temple authorities are hell bound for making money in all possible ways; even the sweepers stop their work to seek some gratitude from the devotees. Very poor on the part of the temple administration.

One of six holy abodes of Lord Murugan

This was first place on day one of our south India tour of 12 days by Taxi. A nice chance of visiting the pious place in pious Shravan Month. After a drive of about 90 km from Chennai, we reached Tiruttani. On a hilltop there is a temple dedicated to Lord Murugan and one of six holy abodes of Lord Murugan in Tamil Nadu. The temple is known as Arulmigu Subramanya Swamy Temple, Tiruttani. The hill has 365 steps indicating 365 days of the year. However now a days there is facility to reach by vehicle and you have to climb few steps only. It is one of the Arupadaiveedu, the six holy abodes of Lord Murugan. A must visit place if you are devotee of Lord Murugan.
