A stately tribute to the Soldiers

St. Inez Church, is so popular that area itself has got the name and this is situated at the extreme end of Caranzalem on a square and a cemetery which was inaugurated on 1st January 1879 is just before the Church. The St. Inez Cemetery is known to have sculpted headstones that are almost a hundred years old, stately tribute to fallen soldiers. Though the area is a commercial and residential area having nice roads and square. Many major banks like Karnataka Bank and many fitness centres are located on this street. At the back of cemetery a narrow creek, which opens to the Mandovi River and almost 3.7 Km long and having many culverts, commonly known as St-Inez Creek.
