Colonial charm

Lovely little church in the wilderness. Its not a grand church like so many others, but is charming and worth a visit. It is a very peaceful place where you can sit and meditate in silence.

The Church at the Hilltop

A quaint little church sits at the top of a hill. Bewildered by trees and and stone masonry of fine class. It also houses a graveyard of the previous British colony that ruled over here. A must visit for Christians and also there is a church service at Sundays. A place where you can meditate and have a chat with God.

Slice of History

Britishers just got it at the right place. This place has slice of history in it. It's stone masonry is simply superb. The govt can do more to beautify this place and make this place an amazing tourist spot.

Church is not maintained well

Our visit to the church was average visit, the church is not maintained inspite of the historical importance attached with it. Though it is located in good location it could have maintained well for memorable visit.

Church of St. John and Saint John's Church are the same place.

The church is very old and has been rebuilt. It's quite cold in April there so I recommend taking warm clothes. It's just on the way to McLeod Ganj. It's quite spooky.

Just a church with beautiful surroundings

The church is on the way to McLeod Ganj. It is situated amidst lush trees and grass. There is a cemetery nearby which makes it kinda spooky. The Church has dark and cold interiors. We visited on Good Friday this year and it was very cold inside. I would recommend warm clothes.

Beautiful and peaceful surrounding

Peaceful place. The church is very old, but well maintained. Although the church is not that good, but the garden outside is a good place to enjoy nature.
