The Sunpuri Hills, which is situated in the Hatkoti Valley, is considered sacred by the locals. Due to its sanctity, locals have named it Ardhnarishwar. Tourists can also visit the beautiful temple, which has an idol of Mahishasurmardini built out of finely cut stone. This temple is situated on one of the hillocks of the Sunpuri Hills and is visited by devotees in large number.

There are several other temples located near the Sunpuri Hills, which are believed to be built by the Pandavas. These temples are referred to as the toy houses of the Pandavas or Panzo Pandoora Ghaurdoo by the natives of this region.
