The Swarga Brahma temple is one of the most prominent shrines of Nava Brahma temples that were built during the 7th century AD. The inscription just above the Dwarapalaka image states that the temple was built by Lok Aditya-Ela-Arasa for honouring Mahadevi, the queen of Vinayaditya. There is a porch similar to Kumara Brahma temple inside the main Swarga Brahma temple.
