I visited this hotel in the month of March with my family on a holiday trip and had booked through travel agent, overall experience in this hotel was excellent, destination was beautiful and very pleasant and the location was away from the chaos of the city, the appearance was nice and the structure was elegant like the ancient heritage, front office the staff's were very courteous and helpful. Rooms of the hotel were well decorated with all amenities working. The food and service of the hotel was very good. I would surely recommend this hotel for other travellers.

Warm welcome by reception. Nice cottage named Kanchengungha. We recommend whenever you come to Darjeeling must stay in this cottage. You will feel royal experiences. Food also good and its very near to mall road. Best for couples.
I stayed at Swiss Hotel with my and three other families during 21st of June to 24th of June, 2015. I must say that we enjoyed a lot over there, Its a beautiful hotel which will remind you of British Era. The food was excellent !! The staff are very cooperative. We were 15 in number including kids. Everyone was happy and if got a chance to visit Darjeeling again, we will definitely stay at same hotel. It's a value for money. Situated at a key spot with walking distance from mall road, pretty decent view with spacious open area for leisure and peaceful time. Stood out for me during my two day stay were amazing homely staff, food and of course and free WiFi with decent bandwidth. In my experience Summit chain of hotels served excellent food which was much better than any other restaurant we visited out there in Darjeeling. So go ahead for a holiday in Darjeeling and dinner plan stay especially when with family. Totally worth it.
The location of the hotel was very good. But, we found difficulty in finding the hotel. The staff were friendly. The interior and exterior of the hotel were good. There were convenient check-in and check-out that was provided. The room was neat, spacious as well as maintained. The room cleaning and housekeeping facilities were good. All the amenities were provided and were to our expectations. The food was very good and was reasonable and also complimentary breakfast was provided. There were activities that were organized by the hotel. I would like to recommend this hotel to other traveller and other people.
There was a warm welcome with traditional garland by Mr. Wong at reception. It was a very efficient & quick check-in. We were given a welcome drink which was very refreshing. We stayed for two nights and whole experience was awesome. Overall stay is very pleasant. I would recommend this hotel.
Rooms were neatly arranged and maintained. Had a iconic ambience. Food was very good and staff were supportive. They arranged all out travel schedule and bookings including Tiger hills and Toy Train. 1st floor rooms are better as they have fire place. Would recommend for a stay.
What else do you need if you get to stay in an old European property in Darjeeling which is strategically built to have the better view of the Kanchanjunga. Although costly its worth staying in this hotel as you can spend your entire day watching the slow changes and views of the mountains from every corner of the hotel. Food is very good.

It was indeed nice to stay in a property which is nearly 100 years old. Located on Gandhi Road, which is sort of pulse of hill town and a shopper's delight. Swiss hotel is strategically located so that you can enjoy the view of mountains form its cottages. Little artefacts from the bygone era of the British makes this little property special. Rooms are spacious. Our room has fire-place too. The huge window opened out to lot of greenery. Food is good, staff very courteous. Overall, a good place to stay while you are in Darjeeling.
