Best in central INDIA Careful with GUIDE Selection

Worth enough for some really good tiger sightings Mohurli gate should be a preferred entry, as most of the sighting are in this zone Unfortunately, the website for online booking, really needs to be customized, as there are several errors, which full time displays as FULL Next Beware of GUIDE's Most of them aren't trained, and speak rubbish language. Government made GUIDE's to accompany you, mandatory, a Good step towards employment generation, but they should be trained atleast to serve the Tourists politely .! Don't get trap, thinking they are poor guys, and avoid a TIP, unless he is really worth Entry to Tadoba is Similar to Crossing a INDO- PAK Border Illegally, or at-least the scene created by Security staff gives you the same impression You are treated like "Filth", even if you cross questioned them for anything ' We are in Power" Beware don't want to name anyone but don't go with one Physically UNFIT guide, and make sure to be careful if you have a choice in selection of GUIDE's Rest, Tadoba is a best place for tiger sightings Especially in Summers don't forget to visit or have a overnight stay in some Jungle Lodge ( in b/w forest). There are few Night stay places from other Entry Gates Enjoy Tadoba Cheers. Swapnil.

You are useless for Tigers

Tadoba is situated in Chandrapur Maharashtra, India. It is famous for tigers. Nearest airport is Nagpur. From Nagpur to Chandrapur it is about 3 hrs. Journey by road and rail. Better take a road route. You should not go there without confirmed booking for entry into Tadoba Park. THIS CAN BE DONE AT Maha Eco-Tourism Govt. In. Try to get entry through Moharli Gate only as there is more probability of Tiger sighting, avoid rest. Moharli is about 40 kms from Chandrapur and takes about one and a half an hour by road. If you are going in the morning take some snacks before entering as you will feel hungry later on. Gypsy vehicles along with guides are available at entrance at payment. Avoid your own vehicle. There is a fair probability of Tiger sighting during summer. Tiger will pass through without even looking at you. There is one toilet at the entrance somewhat in good condition. Another one at mid forest is somewhat horrible. Apart from Tigers you can also see variety of other wild animals, so enjoy.

Excellent Nature to adventure

The experience of Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve was excellent and full of adventure. Moving through a dense forest on open vehicle Gypsy was unexplained. Tadoba is really a great place and one should visit Tadoba at least once to see wildlife and experience the nature's beauty.

Roaring experience

Idyllic place to follow the pug marks of the regal tiger and a whole variety of wild animals in their natural habitat. Be sure to equip yourself with water bottles and hats as the heat becomes unbearable specially in the afternoons.
