It was a short sightseeing trip to Jaipur and my search for budget accommodation turned out to be reasonably good experience. This is a guest house thus at first look you find a residential property rather than typical budget hotel in a congested lane of the city. Location is good though little away from main prime road. This place gives you a good homely feel, large lawn with collection of Bonsai plants, rabbits etc. The first floor has a long corridor with tastefully placed artifacts and spacious balcony to sit and relax. We stayed at the large family room which was spacious, tidy with attached pantry area and a neat washroom. The room furnishing was minimum but good with comfortable bed, sofa cum bed, dish TV, writing desk etc. Meals are served in the restaurant on ground floor. Limited options however adequate at reasonable rate and appeared to be hygienic. The staff is courteous and helpful. They even promptly arranged for last minute missed out toiletries, toothbrush, hair oil. Room was cleaned during the day, on request though. Overall a good option at this price, minus luxuries, swimming pool, bar, room service. Important thing is felt safe with wife and kid.
In the month of February I went for a short unplanned trip with my girlfriend just after 2 days my brother got married. And I would say it was an awesome trip in Jaipur Tara Niwas hotel. We both were supposed to stay at Arya Niwas but unexpectedly we came to this charming hotel on streets of Jaipur. The hotel was situated in the heart of the pink city providing the vintage feel in the city of forts. When we entered the hotel it was simply charismatic. The way to the entrance was filled with lush green garden where birds and rabbits were to be seen wandering around. The whole place gave a feeling of calmness. The hotel completely gave a vintage look and we were treated like royal members at the entrance. The rooms were wide and beautiful. 24 hours hot water and comfortable beds, the room was filled with dim light giving the feel of ancient era, the windows were wide and on the balcony you can feel the light breeze through your face in the evening making all the tiredness go away. The service was very good made. The food was awesome. The overall experience was mesmerizing and I would recommended all the couples and would be couples the place. Great place, food. One of the memorable trip of my life.
Location wise, hotel was convenient. Staff member behaviour was good in this hotel. Appearance wise, it was good. Food was good. Buffet system was there. Room was very clean. View of garden was visible from my room. All amenities such as AC, TV, geyser, etc. Were working properly. We did not have any problem in check in and check out. Taxi was provided for outing from hotel side but it was chargeable. Overall destination is good. It was a relaxing holiday with my husband in January 2012. Overall my experience in this hotel was very comfortable. No suggestion is needed there.
I went to Jaipur last November and stayed there for four days. It was wonderful experience touring the city of Jaipur and we stayed at Tara Niwas Hotel. The hotel was very good for staying. The food was excellent at various places and I also found the staff very supportive at various spots like Hawa quarter and other places too. Truly I had a very good tour of Jaipur.
We stayed at the place for more than a week and arguably staying, at the hotel was the best part of our tour. Located at a very prominent spot, near the bus stop as well as the railway station, all the places of interests were easily accessible from the hotel. The hotel was beautiful, very inviting. The staff were very hospitable and courteous in nature. The rooms were very spacious and in excellent quality. The hotel was very well maintained and spotlessly clean. The best part was the food which tasted very good. Overall, a very good place to stay in.
