Temple of Mylaralinga, one of the ancient worship centres dates back to the 12th century. Situated behind J.S.S College, the temple is beautifully built in Chalukya style of architecture.

The temple is renovated after Adilshahi converted the temple into a mosque. It was reconverted into a temple by Pashwe's. The renowned shrine is known as 'Mylaralinga Gudda', as it is situated on the hill top.

On the outer side of the temple, there is a damaged Chalukya's 'Shivalinga'. Highlighting features of the temple are beautifully carved stone pillars and 'Garbha Gudi' exhibiting an idol of Chaturbhuja (having four arms) Milara holding Dhamaru, Trishul, Khadga and Kapala.

Along with the main deity sculpture, there are sculptures of dog and horse. The roof of the temple is beautifully carved with lotus designs. The main attraction of the temple is the positioning of the statue of temple, which receives the first ray of the sunlight in Dharwad.

Along with the temple, there are Sufi Dargah's on the front, known as Peer Anwarsha and Moonawarsha that also hosts Uruus in the month of Rajjab.
