Good but can improve still more

Posted 3 Feb, 2017

I had been to this hotel in the month of December 2016 with friends. Destination was good. Location of the hotel was inside the city, was average. Appearance of the hotel was average from interior and exterior. Check in check out was done on time, staff of the hotel were cooperative and friendly. Room and toilet was neat and clean. All amenities were available with working condition. Service was average and was on time. Staff were not more. Food was good in quality. No activities were held at the hotel. WiFi facility was provided from the hotel. I will suggest this hotel to others.

Easily accessible hotel but average services

Posted 14 Jan, 2015

Hotel was good and the best part of the hotel is that bathroom because it was very maintained and tidy. Location of the hotel was easily accessible and it was situated inside the main city but near about 3-4 km far from the transportation. Behaviour of the staff was fine but the receptionist behaviour was finicky. Services were okay. Check-in facility was delayed for 1hr. Room was fine and TV was available there. Blanket, bed sheet and other furnishing were in clean condition. I had my food there but the quality of the food was not good. Many varieties were available there. According to the hotel cost wise, the food was costly. Swimming pool and other activities were not available there. I went there with my friends. They did not arrange any cab facility for sightseeing trip. Ranthambore as a destination place is best. Money wise, the hotel was fine.

Bad expirence, Managment was bad

Posted 4 May, 2014

We visited Ranthambore in November 2013 with our friends to celebrate our anniversary. Staying at Tiger safari resort was the biggest mistake we made while visiting Ranthambore. We visited the place in November 2013; the group included 2 couples and a stag. We made an online reservation for this hotel. The complete experience of the hotel. Hotel is not near to the Jungle. Swimming pool, Restaurant (food overpriced, served unwillingly). No lifts/elevators. No room service. No hot water provisions. No travel desk . . On arriving, an unwelcoming guy on the reception gave us the keys to our Rooms. The rooms given to us were on the third floor and to our horror the hotel had no lift/elevator. Obviously we asked the reception to get our luggage to the rooms for which we had to wait for 20 long minutes. The hotel staff was equally discourteous and bluntly asked for Rs. 50 as luggage shifting charge, which was duly paid. The hotel also does not offers any room service, when asked we were rudely said that if you want to eat you will have to come down to the restaurant. The worst part of the stay arrived late night when we friends were celebrating in our room and a foreign tourist came banging at 8. 30 pm telling us to shut up as she wanted to sleep. When we contacted the reception they threatened us and blamed us for disturbing their guests. They threatened us to get booked under false police case mentioning that foreigners are their main business and they won't allow any "disturbance" to them In the morning we wanted to check out pertaining to this incident. When we claimed for a refund the management apologized for the incidence. But they refused to refund the amount. The whole issue ruined our trip badly Advice:. Don't Even Try It! As the management itself admitted, the hotel is not meant for Indian Travelers. They extend their hospitality only to foreign tourists. Thus, if hailing from India you should spare yourself the Horror of staying here or be ready for similar incidents (we saw something similar happening to another Indian couple the next day). You can get better hotels near to the national park that to at cheaper rates. If coming to this hotel be straight about your needs and expectations before check In. If I had to stay here again I would avoid, However if destiny has it then I would certainly stick to the following rules:. I won't ask the management for proper services and behavior. I won't try to have fun . I won't ask for even a glass of water. I would be ready to take my luggage to the top floor . I won't ask for food or refreshments to be served hot

Very good services and decent staff behaviour

Posted 11 Dec, 2014

Appearance of the hotel was good. Hotel location was convenient and it was near about 15 minutes distance far from the railway station or bus stand and it was not located inside the forest. I was able to reach the hotel comfortably. I stayed there two nights. Really I do not remember about the room tariff. Staff behaviour was decent. I had no issue about their services. There was no delay in check-in and check-out facility. Room was neat, clean and spacious and Mountain view was visible from the terrace. All basic amenities were available like TV, AC, geyser, etc and they all were functioning properly. I had food inside the hotel and quality of the food was nice. They provided the food facility according to our choice. I am not sure about activity. Cab facility was arranged by me for sightseeing trip. I do not know about the parking space. I travelled there with my family. Hotel was value for money. I have no suggestion for hotel improvement. This is a recommendable hotel for others travellers.

Comfortable stay, courteous staffs, no activities

Posted 10 Apr, 2014

Our four days, three nights stay at the Tiger Safari resort at Sawai Madhopur to visit Ranthambore reserve was pleasant and comfortable. This was our 2nd visit to Sawai Madhopur and we stayed at the same resort both times. Both of visits to Sawai Madhopur were in the month of March I would like to express our thanks to the Tiger Safari management for making our stay at their resort very comfortable and enjoyable. Although there were no bonfires or any other cultural activities undertaken by the resort management for their guest but apart from this they are quite eager to fulfill any request you may have. Service staff is courteous although inexperienced. Management is always looking for ways to make your stay better in all ways possible. They are open to suggestions. Food was average, compared to our previous stay. I would like to suggest to people travelling to Sawai Madhopur to stay at the Tiger Safari Resort.

Worst resort with no facilities available

Posted 30 Dec, 2014

Hi, I had visited this property four days back and found completely opposite as mentioned on their website. Like:- campfire, "roof top" restaurant, different varieties of food, audiovisual show, nothing was there and handicraft is costly compare to the market and big commission involved in arranging the jungle ride And the worst part is "doctor on call", I asked for hot drinking water in my room and waiter got the boiling water for drinking and that to in a loose tightened jar which spilled on my wife's hand and she got burned and the manager "Mr. Abhay Maheshwari" reacted very normal like nothing has happened and in spite of calling a doctor or asking for any medication started blaming and arguing us and when we complained him again for the food in the restaurant he told us that you are the only people complaining for it and regarding facilities which they had mentioned in the website, he argued me and told to discuss with the agent through which I had made bookings. As far as my holidays for this place was concerned for relaxing but in this property it become a night mare for me. So, I will ask all my friends who even think for this resort please beware or think thrice before making any bookings.
