I have stayed in Umaid Haveli Hotel for 2 nights during my vacation to Jaipur. This is a beautiful heritage property located in Kukas area which is 10 km outside the main city of Jaipur. Starting from the entrance gate to the beautiful floral & peacock design on the walls in reception area to the life size portraits in the dining hall to beautiful floral designs on the ceiling inside our room - everything is eye catching. The deluxe rooms were spacious with attached bathroom having all modern fittings. The complimentary breakfast had fresh fruits, juices, Indian options, cornflakes, pancakes, live eggs counter etc. Additional perks: - Rooftop dinner with a pleasant view of the city and Aravalli range, arranged free of cost by the hotel - Open pool : Looked clean but were a little hesitant to use, also did not have time to swim after the shopping and sightseeing. - Breakfast: On the house, delicious and fresh! - Spa and gym: Not operational at the time of our stay, so unable to elaborate more Overall: highly recommended, will stay again. Excellent value for money. The staff was always smiling and helpful. The location is very peaceful and close to Amer Fort.
This is a gorgeous hotel that has paid a great amount of attention to detail in its decor. While it isn't a heritage property, it has embraced that aesthetic. The staff is extremely helpful, they make you feel at home straight away. They also accommodate early or late check-in/check-outs and provide meals and room service outside the stated hours . . The rooms are all really beautiful, paying homage to the Rajasthani architecture. Even the common areas and lobby area is aesthetically pleasing. Room service is really good too. We ordered Lalo maas and rice, and it was delicious. They sent it to us even though it was 4pm, which is outside their timings for room-service Although the location of the hotel is a little off from the major tourist points in Jaipur, it's not too far. I would still suggest staying here since it's the experience of a heritage hotel without being overpriced.
I was in Umaid for a night good property good hospitality and good breakfast. The pool is very small and clean. Rooms are well kept its small but nice with a hawali touch you feel your staying in a royal haweli but no bugs or insects like others. Very well maintained. We had a good experience about there hospitality. The taxi person had charged us e tra which the hotel returned back to us. So clean and clear transactions. Liked there goodwill gestures

Umaid quarter is a place if someone is looking for royal and heritage feeling. It has enough number of pictures and furniture which gives the feel of royalty. Though it is in the residential area, the Umaid quarter is a palace within itself. Overall its a good place to stay. One should not expect the service and professionalism as a hotel since its a heritage structure and style.
