Good place to trek

This is very beautiful place surround with lush green trees. You will notice rock cut idols of siva, vishnu and ganesha. You can easily spend 1. 30 to 2 hrs in unakoti. When yoi visit tripura or mizoram visit this place.

Abode of Lord Shiva and crore deities

It's a wondrous sight and takes one breath away. This quaint location in North Tripura in Kailashahar has a story that Shiva cast the other Gods and Goddesses to stone since they could not wake up before sunrise to proceed to Kashi with Lord Shiva. The rock carvings and murals are primitive beauty. During April there is a mela called Ashokastami.

WOW Art

It is difficult to explain about this place, just can say, goosebumps arise when even think or imagine back of this place. Nothing missing of this place, art, mystic, wilderness, sanctity and what not? Just be there in a lifetime.

Unakoti is a place where people gather on certain time

Ashokastami (April) programme, you will find okay type of gathering in Unakoti, rest of the time it is just like a deserted place and very few people visit this place. At the end if you are a Tripurites, then it's okay to spend few time or money for Unakoti, but if you are an outsider then never ever think of it. Unakoti is around 170 KM from Agartala and about 7 KM from Kailashahar town
