Uppali Buruz is located to the north of Dakhani Idgah in the district of Bijapur. It is an 80 ft high tower, which was built around 1584 AD by Hyder Khan. Spherical in shape, it has stone steps all around.

Furthermore, it contains various guns, powder chambers, war material, and water cisterns. This tower is also known by some other names such as Hyder Burj and Upri Burj. Tourists can also enjoy an aerial view of the city from the top of this tower.

Tower with Cannons

It is a watch tower. Two large cannons are placed on this tower. We can see the 360 degree view of Bijapur from this tower. Only few steps are there to reach top. Aged people also can reach top without any problem.

Perfect place for antique photography

It's in Bijapur Athani highway. Near to water tank and sainyk school. Here you can find the weapons used by kings. Like barrels, different types of Cannons, etc which were used by olden army. You can visit this place during dusk as it will be the perfect time. A perfect place for antique photography.
