Mesmerised by the beauty of Valley of Flowers

The place made my Jaws open!! It is really tough for me to express the beauty over there. The vast endless beds of flowers, high hills around, flowing streams, the breeze of fresh air, the clear sky. It is almost like visiting a paradise. The place fills you with some extra energy. I would specially like to mention the Blue Poppy Holidays Team, my tour operators for Valley of Flowers who made this journey even more special and comfortable. Visiting such a far place with such geographical features created so many doubts in my mind. But thanks to Blue Poppy Holidays, they made it all clear as the trip was so well managed that it really amazed me and I congratulate them for doing such a wonderful job. Along with Valley of Flowers the beauty of Hemkund Sahib cannot be neglected. This holy place has so much to offer in terms of Nature beauty. It gave me a divine feeling visiting there. I earlier thought that the trek would be tough but if you follow some simple instructions it could be easily manageable and even pleasing. The place will stick to my memory forever and I would try to visit it again and again.

Totally cut off from world

We the group of 62 persons in association with Blue Poppy Holidays had visited the Valley Of Flowers in mid July, 2015 and had a wonderful experience of hills, glaciers, flowers, rivers in the Badrinath region of Uttarakhand. The trek was lovely and the scenery was unexplainable. If you are nature lover and can trek for 8hrs, this is the place for you. This region is to be explored on foot only! No transportation, no mobile connectivity. Totally cut off from the word! Experience it!

Fantastic trek of Virgin Nature

Last 3 years we are trying to go to this trek but due to bad reports from the site we postponed it and at last we got chance to visit the paradise this year in the month of August 2015.We reached Haridwar via train. Then by bus we went to Joshi Math. After a night halt at Joshi math we proceed to Ghangria by Jeep and Horse. It was a terrific as well as unique and best experience of the life. 14 Kms on horse back, with showering clouds and shivering cold, stony paths and fast floating streams, ups and downs and with ice cold lunch pack. After reaching Ghangria became fresh and went to see the waterfall on the way to Valley and Hemkund but very nearer to Ghangria. It is just like curtain raiser. And we came to know what kind of beautiful nature we are going to visit with how much trouble.Next morning at 7. 00 am after taking breakfast we started trek to Valley of Flowers. No horse nothing you have to walk only. Coolies are available costing Rs. 7000/- on wards. It took 4-5 hours to reach the start point of the valley. Then we went 2-3 kms deep into the valley. We are all senior citizens. Our group leader was very helpful and of kind nature, he took all the luggage so that we can walk. After a grand and fantastic trek we came back to Ghangria at 6. 00 pm.
