Vemulawada Temple

I visited Vemulawada temple from Hyderabad via Shamirpet. There are no street lights on the way. The government is charging toll without providing any facilities. The roads are small. At some places the roads are in bad condition. There are no good hotels in Vemulawada. No proper guidance was provided in the temple. I would suggest not to visit the temple on Mondays as it is very crowded. There is no maintenance in the temple. The government should do something for the temple maintenance which will be beneficial for the travelers.

Cast and Creeds are no barricade

Vemulawada is situated about 38 KMs from Karimnagar and it was also known as Vemulawada during the Chalukyan era, this village is famous for temple of Lord Shiva in the form of Raja Rajeshwara Swamy. Vemulawada is a Janpad Panchyat and is a village of temples. Devotees have a great faith in all the temples, some are ancient like temple of Lord Venugopala, temple of Lord Nageshwara, Goddess Baddi Pochamma temple, temple of Lord Shiva Bheemeshwara temple and a famous shrine of Muslim saint Hazrat Baba Khaja Bagh Sawar, who used to live in the Rajarajeshwara Swamy temple complex and it is situated in the same compound in between the main entrance of the temple and the main sanctum, which is considered 400-500 years old. This is the most beautiful example as cast and creeds are no Barricade, all worships together their deities and this is what required to become a good human being.
