Venus International Hotel
A hotel with rooms sorry to tell that lift facility was not available. Affordable rate, good front office, lack of restaurant facility was main problem. Rooms, bathroom etc spacious but lacking maintenance. Near to city and easy access to bus stand and railway station.
Discovered Venus Hotel after a long outing and no less than 10 vain tries at different spots. Venus is in strolling separation from the train and in addition transport station and on a decent road with shops and web bistros (well, in India, it's simply the web, no bistro). I consumed the space without taking a gander at it and was agreeably amazed. Clean (aside from the dividers that urgently need scouring), a capable fan, mosquito screens on every window, delicate sleeping pad (a major +) and great water supply. The TV has loads of channels - yet just two of them worldwide in English with not awful gathering. The room was little, yet I just required the bed I felt safe and could unwind well. The main issue is the foyer that has the acoustic of a church building so the music playing outside, telephones ringing and the excessively energized gathering of different visitors were an annoyance. Be that as it may, then: India without commotion wouldn't be India Stayed November 2014, voyaged solo.
Venus International Hotel is located at Thampanoor, Trivandrum. One of the beautiful temples, Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple is just 2 km from this hotel. Though the location is beautiful, it's very difficult to reach there because of heavy traffic Rooms are very clean and arranged beautifully. Laundry, dry cleaning, ironing services are available too. The staff at front office can assist with travel arrangements. Food is just average both dining and buffet available. Buffet is better with normal rate Recommending this hotel to all.
My overall experience in the hotel was very good. The main point which attracted me is its location. The hotel is situated in such a location where we can reach within 5 minutes by taxi / auto from the railway station or state bus stand. It is within 1 KM distance from the railway station / or the state bus stand. Rooms are okay but not spacious enough. Amenities are satisfactory. Hospitality/ room service etc. were good. Restaurant and food quality was not up to the mark. Worth for the money we pay.
