Very Interesting

Dangerous to go into the water due to Marsh Crocodiles but a lovely site where one can wander around for 45 minutes. The military also seems to be doing some of their exercises and training over there. Friendly staff who keep an eye that no one strays into the water. One can sip some cool coconut water, sit on a bench and enjoy the view

Splendid beach to spend few hours

Wandoor is a wonderful beach in Port Blair. It attracts many tourists everyday during the season. The beach is located around 25 km far away from Port Blair. It is very close to Mahatma Gandhi National Marine Park which is a museum of its own kind. Wandoor beach is a broad clean sandy beach famous for its calm & glorious scenes. More over, haunting trees on the coast line, shuddered by the Tsunami creates an elegant landscape also. It Takes around an hour to reach Wandoor beach from Port Blair. Hired a cab from Port Blair and took time to reach the spot about 50 minutes. The best time to visit the beach is in the morning. An excellent option for offbeat travellers is Wandoor beach

Clean and quite beach

Clean beach, not much crowded as it is quite away from Port Blair City. Good place to relax a bit as it is very quite. Weather can be very hot but one will visit this place after Red Skin visit. So in the afternoon you may not spent much time in this place unless you are staying in Wandoor area only. But one may click few pics and view is quite nice and water is clear.

Gateway to the Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park

Wandoor Beach is a wonderful clean and quiet beach where one just sit and relax while watching the sea. The blue waters will amaze you. Also Wandoor is considered to be the gateway to the Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park.

Enjoy the greenery around

Beautiful beach with clean water, one can take a trip to Jolly Buoy island from this beach, this was around 25 kms from our hotel. On way to Wandoor, one can enjoy the greenery, plantations and also have coconut water on this beach.

Mesmerising, pristine, beautiful

Our guide took us to the place saying that it was a Pristine beach. Once we reached the beach, the first reaction was Wow! This beach is an untouched paradise with jaw dropping views of the nearby Islands and is a must visit destination in Port Blair.

A picturesque place

Wandoor Beach was also an alternate destination arranged by our tour operator as we could not go to Havelock because of Hudhud. The beach is a treat to the eyes. Such picturesque beaches are not there in the mainland.

White sand, must visit

Pristine blue lagoon with white sands. Must try the coconuts here. You can visit Wandoor and Chidiya Tapu in one day if you got short time. Wandoor in the morning and Chidiya Tapu after that for a beautiful sunset view.

Not much attractive

Overall good, but it is not too attractive in comparison to other renowned beaches in Andaman, other attractive spots may be prepared there for the visitors.

Another one excellent located beach.

Nice location. Distinct looks will attract you, it is visibly different from other beaches. You can enjoy panoramic view of sunset sitting on its wooden benches here. Ambience is very quiet & calm, idle place to spend times with your beloved one.
