We stayed in MTDC and the resort was good with basic amenities and without hustle & away from crowd. You can spot dolphins if you are lucky. Must visit place.”

The sister town of the beloved hill station of Darjeeling, Yercaud till now has managed to evade the limelight and thus offers a chance to be away from the bustling crowds and look forward to some trekking or relaxing.

We visited the lake, park nearby the lake, ladies seat and rose garden. I will always remain as pleasant memory. It was drizzling lightly after we left the park and afterwards it became sunny during our boat ride. Vendors were selling fruits near rose garden which is really good. Fruits like starfruit and fig are must try.”

I recommended you too there in December-January. Day was full of sunny and night was really cooled with majestic moon view in clear whether. You could see Sam dunes, Jaisalmer fort, Gadsisar lake, Jain temple.”

February being the last month of winter for this part of the country so if you wish to indulge into skiing Gulmarg is your place.

Gulmarg also has the highest gondola of the world. In Gulmarg Gondola is the best thing I have ever seen, taking a ride in cable car while enjoying the beauty is breathtaking. Our stay was nice but I think too much human interference has taken the sheen away from Gulmarg a lit bit. I think it is best place for any kind of people whether adventurous, romantic or just nature loving it is a beauty to watch. So every person should visit this wonderful place once.”

The ideal reason to visit Diu in Feb is because of the beaches and the breathtaking sunset. Diu has numerous beaches and with the Festa De Diu which is the longest beach festival of the world the wrap parties are off the charts.

I think December and January best time to visit Kaziranga.”
