Shitiz Chaudhary : This monastery was established in the 11th century and houses a large number of Buddhist monks and nuns along with various scrolls and paintings. The fort like structure of the monastery is due to the various attacks it has faced and the subsequent destruction and rebuilding that took place.

Nirman Parkar: This is one of the places that doesn't follow religion. It follows the only principle of following humanity. People from over 243 castes and creed live here in peace and harmony. The Auroville is a grand dome which is especially built for concentration and meditation. Not anyone person can enter Auroville. Only those who are serious would need to seek prior permission.

Jagjeet Singh: The place is best suited for the person who wants to spend some peaceful time away from the city chaos. Here you can have a majestic view of Himalayan range. We had a very nice view of valley and Himalayan Range from our hotel balcony. Just sit and relax. Alternatively ideal for walk in the nature's green lap.

Parag Joshi: This place is the most beautiful place I have ever seen as you can see from the pics. Altitude of the Lake is 14500 ft, but to reach there you have to go through the pass which is around 17800 ft. It's 150 km from Leh but worth visiting. Please visit it in sunny days as during clouds you will not be able to see its beautiful colours.

I spoke with a shopkeeper named Sharmaji, who said that it might snow heavily in the night and it would be the first snow of the season

Mayank Nagori: We headed straight to trek the Dzukou Valley. This is a valley atop the hills which blooms exotic flowers during the monsoon season which is generally from July-September, so that's the best time to visit. We stayed there overnight in the government dormitory and lived the night with the caretakers.

Amit Ghosh: The largest river island of the world, is a culturally rich place too. The journey to Majuli is a long one, starting from Jorhat, then changing boats and buses and so on. The journey to the island is an exhilarating one, a kind of feeling that I was going a land unknown to the world, surrounded me.
