The 5 kilometres trek to Nongriat starts from Tyrna Village near Sohra. The trek, for most person should take about 2 hours, but for the unlimited photogenic and captivating sights enroute the trek can extend by a couple more hours.” Read Full Review

The roads here are in very good condition but you will cross many landslide prone areas. So be very careful while driving. Chopta falls under the Kedarnath Forest area so the facilities here are minimal. ...from 6 pm onwards) there was nothing to do there!!! So we sat next to the campfire, watched the stars, played music on our guitar, discussed random things and then at 7.30 pm, we again had nothing to do.
