HolidayIQ Reviewer Rubal Arora shares, “Great trek plus an amazing view. Pay 750 per group (10) and start your trek with a guide provided to you by the forest department. The trek is not that tough but does demand a certain level of fitness. The guide will take you to the viewpoint next which will just take your breath away. I personally hadn't seen a more peaceful and beautiful scene in my life.

HolidayIQ Reviewer Deepika Ashwant shares, “Good place to trek. The Mullayanagiri Peak is a star attraction in Chikmagalur as it is the tallest peak in Karnataka. The drive towards the peak is very tricky, hence need to be very careful. There are also private Jeeps available for hire. On the way to the peak there is an old temple and then when we take the last 400 steps by foot too there is a Shiva Temple at the top of the mountain. From the top, there is a good view of the valleys, other peaks and the picturesque Ayyanakere Lake. Worth climbing the peak.”

There is a small waterfall like stream if you take a little diversion for it on the way up. The view of the clouds engulfing the peak of these hills adds to the excitement to continue the trek and reach the top.”
