1. Camping At Malshejghat

HolidayIQ Traveller Ravi Iyer from Mumbai shares, "Heaven on earth! That's what Malshej ghat is all about. Blissful, easy going. Ideal for a weekend getaway with family or with friends. Especially during the monsoons. Ideally take lots of battery power banks and a pack of playing cards. The electricity at the MTDC resort is erratic. And if your smartphone battery runs out you may want to do something. Go the analog route and play a game of cards with your spouse and child or friends. A bottle of rum with roasted american corn would be a great combo to try out here. Although you are not allowed to drink alcoholic beverages in the MTDC resort - and I wouldn't advise you to try it on the road either. So sip a cutting chai instead and eat that bhutta and make it a safe road trip. Cheers."

2. Paragliding In Kamshet

HolidayIQ Traveller Maryaan Desilva from Mumbai shares, "Kamshet is famous for being excellent for paragliding activities and an adventurous weekend. But the Vadivali Lake also offers a great opportunity to have a relaxed, chilled out weekend away from the noise & chaos of Mumbai. The absolutely breathtaking beauty of the lake was just perfect to relax, unwind and clear out your head."

3. Hiking At Kaas Plateau

HolidayIQ Traveller Keshava Murthy from Bangalore shares, "This plateau, slowly becoming known to visitors thanks to the internet, is truly a lovely place to visit. A word of caution though: the valley is in full bloom only during September and the first half of October; therefore, a visitor is advised to check with the local host what the right time to visit is. Another piece of advise that could be useful is: do not entirely go by the advertisements because there is an element of exaggeration attached."

4. Sea Swimming At Bordi Beach

HolidayIQ Traveller Hiren Punj shares, "Bordi beach. A very beautiful but quite place to be at, very calm atmosphere, very few people around, quite clean and well-maintained beach. Superb place if you want to just relax and spend quality time not many option for food ground other than 1-2 resort!! Tall trees will keep sun away even in afternoon. Wonderful sea almost flat for few km. Overall I will say must go place if you are looking to chill out."

Water Rafting is the best part of this place. A medium grade white water rafting perfect for first timers. Amazing single lane road to the destination, greenery and flowers both the side makes the journey dreamy! We literally parked our cars and had a photo shoot for hours."

Rajmachi is very famous fort near twin hill stations in Maharashtra - Lonavala and Khandala. Rajmachi fort is nearby 18/20 Kms from Lonavala but a nice way to reach the fort is from Tungarli Lake. This trek is very good for the beginners. This is a real beautiful location if you are planning for Trekking.”
