HolidayIQ reviewer Akanksha says, "We visited Vivekanand Rock Memorial, Thiruvallur Roack, Kanyakumari Temple, Kanyakumari Beach. One can drink a lot of coconut water as the temperature is humid. It's worth visiting the place. One can buy sea shell work from the local market. Do carry your umbrella and sun screen lotion."

HolidayIQ traveller Ashit Utpal Datta shares, "It was our first day of Kanyakumari visit and the main attraction was Vivekananda Rock memorial. We were able to see the memorial from our Hotel room, however the excitement of visiting it was unimaginable. Among the thunderous sea we moved to the memorial crossing the tides through a jetty. Once we were there the sun was on our head and it was too hot to bear. However there were narrow white lines on the floor so that people can walk. Overall the memorial was awesome, beautifully carved on Rocks with sea pouncing on it relentlessly. Winds were blowing balancing the heat of the sun on the rock. We took many snaps at different parts of the mesmerizing structure and also meditated a while in the Vivekanand meditation center. Overall a very good experience with family. Would recommend everyone to visit once in a lifetime the structure for a unique feeling of oneness."
