Nuranang Falls were captured beautifully in the song tanhai tanhai from the movie Koyla.

"Nuranang waterfalls lies in between Tawang and Bomdila road. This waterfall is magnificent and is about 100 m-high. This waterfall is also known as Jang Waterfalls as it is located in a place named Jang. One can have a very close view of this waterfall as it is too close from the viewpoint (around 200m I guess). I visited here during the monsoon period when it was in its full glory, and had plenty of water. According to our car driver cum guide, this waterfall originates from the Sela peak and falls into the Tawang river. There is a Hydropower Plant which generates electricity from the waterfall for local use. One can enjoy River Rafting during favorable seasons. One willing to see this place needs to take a private vehicle(in fact shared sightseeing is not available in Tawang)," says HolidayIQ Traveller Sunil Chaurasia.
