On reaching there, Thendup and his wonderful wife Pema and their super efficient crew ensured we were made to feel a part of the extended family! The accommodation is excellent and worth the price. The farm's setting with sweeping vistas of the mountains and valleys make you want to stay there forever. The food is simply outstanding and for anyone who wants a real quiet, peaceful holiday far from the madding crowds, shops and television, this is the ideal retreat and a soul-enriching experience.”

During your stay, visit Bara Bazar which happens to be one of northeast India’s largest and oldest traditional markets and trade centres, go boating in Wards Lake, and explore the bylanes of Shillong on foot.

HolidayIQ Traveller Rony D'coasta says, “The stay in Shillong was to explore the city and cafe Shillong was at the perfect location. Away from the noisy center of police bazaar but yet close enough to walk there whenever you feel like. The rooms are well kept. The breakfast is a good spread of Indian and continental. Since its a b and b lunch and dinner is not served but you can order from their own restaurant which goes by the same name. While I was there the restaurant used to shut early due to a road block imposed every evening so we had to order as early as 6.30 in the evening. Thankfully there is a microwave so you can heat up the food if you are a late eater. The in house host ratneshwar takes good care of the guests helping them to arrange car for local sightseeing. There are no restaurants close by so you have to rely on cafe Shillong for your dinner.”
