A place where everyone has a story to tell, the ghats are divine. The Ganga aarti here can be a life-changing experience. Once you visit this place, you'll feel like you belong here. Plan a stay in a nearby hut and see the diiference.

Ashwin Pandey tells you more about the Ghats:  The Ganga Ghats (river front) are the most popular pilgrimage spot of Varanasi and are centers of music and learning. There is a great tradition of Yatras in the holy city of Kashi and the most sacred path is that of Panchkoshi Parikrama, the fifty-mile path with a radius of five miles that cover 108 shrines along the way, with Panchakoshi Temple as its main shrine.

Find an unparalleled peace of mind at the Sanchi stupa which was commissioned about 2000 years ago. Have a chat with monks and come to terms with the uniqueness of this place! There are many awesome places you can stay at, near Sanchi. All you have to do is pick!

Suresh Ramaswamy shares his experience, "A 'must see' place about an hour and half drive from Bhopal city, the Sanchi Stupa is archaeologically and historically significant. The monuments attract visitors from several parts of the world. Well maintained neat and tidy, this is a World Heritage Site."

3. Shore Temple, Mahabalipuram

Another World Heritage Site, the Shore Temple is a treat for those who love architecture and history. Check out where you can stay when you are in Mahabalipuram.

Anand Bose : Words cannot describe the artistic excellence of this temple. You actually feel proud as soon as you enter the temple premises. The type of carvings and the built is un-matchable. I feel even the roman structures in Italy are not as magnificent as this place.

4. Ajanta Ellora

A testament to an era long gone by, these caves are a must if you are interested in rock cut architecture. Not to forget the many ancient paintings and sculpture they feature. Stay in a nearby hotel to explore the place leisurely.

Kiran : Journey of life reflects in meandering rivers and uniting forces of universe. Art captures both beautifully. Remember those pencil sketch of childhood. That's what I could feel at caves of Ajanta-Ellora. Worth visiting for knowledge of past through artistic expression.

Don’t you want to visit the place where Buddha attained enlightenment? Historically, this temple is one of the highlights of Buddhist culture. To know true peace, stay in a nearby Dharamshala.

Rn K : I have been visiting this place for long. It is one of those monuments and places where you experience peace for your soul. It gives me soul awakening divine experience to nourish our earthly body and mind. The view of the mahabodhi tree where Buddha attained salvation/enlightenment, in the evening with people chanting with full heart is always very spiritual.
