1. Eden Gardens, Kolkata

Probably the most famous stadium in India, this is where countless memories have been made. For Indian cricket fans, this is about as glorious as it gets. With a capacity of over 66,000 this is the dream for any cricket fan.

When you’re in Kolkata, don’t forget binging on yummy fusion Chinese street food. A walk down the Park Street is an absolute must.

Imagine being surrounded by mountains while enjoying a cricket match. This stadium is definitely one of the most beautiful stadiums in the world and you can literally say that the bowler is coming from the Himalayan end!

Apart from being one of the most scenic places you could enjoy a cricket match at, Dharamshala is known for its Buddhist culture and monasteries.

One of the best stadiums and home to Mumbai FC, even though this is not the home of Mumbai Indians, it is another beautiful stadium in which many international cricket matches are played. Now more of a football stadium, this is a place where football can be enjoyed to the most.

Mumbai is one of the best places in the country to enjoy some lip smacking street food. Make sure you indulge in pav bhaji or sandwiches when you’re here.

4. Feroz Shah Kotla, New Delhi

Feroz Shah Kotla Ground, formerly known as Willingdon Pavilion, was established in 1883 and is the second oldest international cricket stadium still functional in India, after the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The stadium is home of the Delhi Daredevils of the Indian Premier League.

Delhi is famous all over the country for delicious parathas and chaat. When you’re here to watch a match, treat yourself to some amazing chaat and parathas, Delhi style.
