The GoMad music, art and dance festival took place at Fern Hills, Ooty on January 26th and 27th. This festival allows you to camp under the stars, dig into fast food from food trucks and listen to extremely talented bands for two-days straight. This global music festival had Indian bands like When Chai Meets Toast, Best Kept Secret, Lagori, Peepal Tree, etc, and Jeremiah Ferrari from the UK perform. Since it was a two-day thing it had two separate stages where the artists played according to their slots. The crowd beat the cold weather (-5C) with some great music, sizzling hot food, good alcohol, and a warm bonfire to keep everyone entertained and happy till the very end which in turn made this festival a huge success.

They have a super friendly and helpful staff, a delicious spread for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. All the rooms have their own fireplace, antique décor and wonderfully clean bathrooms with super-hot water available throughout which is very helpful in the super cold weather. All this really gave out a cozy warm feeling making it feel like home instantly! Lymond house is 15 minutes away from Fern Hill, it was easy to travel back and forth to the festival. After getting back to the homestay after the festival we had a bonfire arranged for us there which made us love the remaining of our night and our stay even more.
